A fine wall mount of fossil teeth from the phosphate deposits of Khouribga,  Morocco.  Morocco produces 85% of the world’s phosphates for fertiliser – which was formed on an prehistoric sea floor, 50 million years ago and in those deposits are also a treasure trove of fossil shark teeth and fish remains.   Sharks have survived and flourished in the world’s seas for over 300 million years.  Their skeletons, made of cartilage, rather than bone, do not usually fossilise but their teeth and spines do.  In the style of a hunting trophy display, you can show off some remains of nature’s most successful marine predator on your wall – without depleting world wildlife!

Collection contains 21 species of shark, ray and marine reptile teeth, Khouribga, Morocco.   Labelled.
